Visual example of the placement of ROIs for the quantitative analysis of the inner ear fluids’ signal. For each labyrinth, a 1-mm2 ROI was placed on an axial section in the utricle (endolymph, red arrow). A 0.5-mm2 ROI was positioned on a coronal section in the saccule (endolymph, red arrow). A 1-mm2 ROI was placed in both the vestibular cistern and the tympanic portion of the basal turn of the cochlea (perilymph, yellow arrow). An additional 1.5-mm2 ROI was placed in the CSF of the homolateral CPA (green arrow)
