Normalised mean data of the relative change in volume bone mineral density (vBMD) compared to the vBMD value at 7 s (unenhanced phase in vertebrae) in the computed tomography perfusion imaging examination. The curve was divided in three subareas (unenhanced phase, grey; arterial phase, red; and venous phase, blue). As it can be seen visually and by the accompanying mathematical formula, the unenhanced and venous phase shows a near horizontal line while the arterial phase shows a steep increase of vBMD change over time. There was a significant change in neighboring time points between 17.5 s to 41.5 s. After that time point, there was no detectable difference between the neighboring time points
